Homemade Baby Wipes

Many of my friends have been asking me as of late how to make baby wipes. Everyone is a little short on cash right now and this is just one way to save some money with that little bundle of joy. Enjoy!

Baby Wipes
1/2 Roll of Bounty Paper Towel
2 Cups - Very Hot Water
1 Heaping TBSP - Baby Lotion
1 TBSP - Baby Wash

Notes:
Bounty works best as the two layers do not separate as easily.
I microwave the water for about 3 minutes to get it good and hot to break down the baby lotion.
Adding you baby wash 2nd will help to break down the rest of the baby lotion
Use what every brand lotion and wash you prefer!

Place in container, just big enough for the roll of wipes and cover with lid. Let set for several hours. You should then be able to pull center core out with out any trouble. Once core is removed begin using wipes. Pull from center if pulling core hasn't already started pulling them for you.

You will want a container that has a lid that goes off and one easily.

Thank you to my great friend Melissa who gave me these instructions as part of my Baby Shower gift. (What a great idea!)

Some friends have been asking my what type of container I use. To be honest I don't believe the one that I use is available any more by its self. I know that it is in a 3 pc nesting set. I use the Rubbermaid stackable 3 qt. http://www.rubbermaid.com/Category/Pages/ProductDetail.aspx?SpaceId=Kitchen(RubbermaidSpaces)&CatName=FoodStorage&SubCatId=BulkStorage&Prod_ID=RP091246
This container makes it easy to pop the top on and off when pulling out wipes.
