Book Review: Danny the Dragon DVD

All I have to say is what a neat idea! The book Danny the Dragon "Meets Jimmy" was adapted to sign for the deaf audiance. Although it has been adapted to sign it is great for people with their hearing too! If you have read my review of Danny the Dragon you already know my feelings on the book. If you haven't, Please see this link: http://babytipsbytricia.blogspot.com/2010/03/book-review-danny-dragon.html This DVD is an exact replica of the book. If you are looking for a book that has been recreated in animated form this is not it. It simply has been redone as if the author is reading it to you with the pages turning. The sign narator is then in the right side of the screen reading along for the deaf audiance.

This book would be perfect for a classroom that may be full of deaf students or as an aide for those teachers that may have a mix of sighted, non sighted, hearing or non hearing students.
